The Capital Detachment was on hand on March 1st, for Charlie Company 1st Battalion 24th Marines Mobilization family day. The detachment was on hand at 0630 to hand out coffee & doughnuts to the Marines, then handed out Hot dogs and Chips to the family members during the family day info, the detachment handed out over 800 hot dogs, chips and drinks, the drinks were donated by McDonalds on West Saginaw , the Family Day was held at the Holiday Inn on West Saginaw,                                            

It was also the end of a 23 year Marine Corps career of Capital Detachment Member GySgt Zamora, the Gunny had his retirement ceremony at the end of the festivities, with Charlie Company Marines, Capital Detachment Marines and Family Members.
